Brace yourself for the grand finale as you fashion bridal bouquets so exquisite, they'll leave everyone in attendance utterly spellbound... and you'll of course get to take your bouquet home with you.
This is more than a workshop; it's a journey back into nature, a look into the heart of floral brilliance, where every flower tells a story, and every arrangement is a work of art. The fee is £995 - this includes materials for the group designs, plus flowers for your bouquet - which you can of course take home with you to enjoy and admire! We're looking for include as much British grown materials as we can get our hands on, to showcase what beautiful materials are available to us as florists.
We've included lunch and refreshments so you just need to get to us, sort your accommodation and evening meals. We like to make it easier - so if you'd love to attend the workshop, but can't pay in one go - please just get in touch and we can arrange to invoice you to split the payment. Itinerary
Saturday 27th April 2024
Day 1: Foundations of Wedding Floral Design
Arrival time: 9.30-9.50
Our floral design adventure begins with a warm welcome and cup of tea!
At 10am, led by Leopoldo, we delve deep into the essentials, exploring colour theory and mastering techniques to kickstart our creative journey.
Break for lunch.
In the afternoon, under the expert guidance of Leopoldo and Claire, we’ll immerse ourselves in the hands-on sessions, bringing our newfound knowledge to life as we craft floral wonders in collaborative groups around the venue*.
Q&A and Feedback from Leopoldo.
The workshop day will end at 5pm.
Sunday 28th April 2024
Day 2: Crafting Ceremony and Reception Arrangements
Start time: 10am.
Through engaging discussions and practical demonstrations, we’ll absorb the design principles essential for creating enchanting floral arrangements for reception florals. Participate in Practical workshop session, where we will transform the space into a botanical heaven, guided by the expertise of our mentors.
(Includes a break for lunch.) The workshop day will end at 5pm.
Monday 29th April 2024
Day 3: Intricate Bridal Bouquets
Start time: 9.15am.
Bright and early, we’ll focus on the pinnacle of wedding floristry: the bridal bouquet. We will hone our skills through demonstrations of intricate techniques from Leopoldo. In the afternoon, it’s your time to craft your own stunning bridal bouquets.
Capture your creations during a final showcase, receive vital feedback and final Q&A session.
The workshop day will end at 4.15pm
*Weather dependent!! – if it rains, we’ll stay under cover!
