Put the flags out! At long last a website presence, and hopefully one which will inspire, inform and allow you to indulge and share our passion for nature and the wide ranging appeal of flowers in many of their guises. It has been a long haul for sure, during which time I have concluded that my creative brain does not respond easily to the logic and methodology used in the computing community. It has resulted in many sighs of despair. Or maybe it is one of those ever more frequent ‘senior moments..’ Who knows? Whatever it is we hope that you enjoy the site. You may ask “Why did it take you so long?” – Simply because the website was never to be ‘just another cloned website’ – it had to encompass an individual style, be informative, thought provoking, fun, look good, as well as commercially viable and worth investing in. And that takes lots of time - not only to collate the information but to find designers with whom you could work and trust and who didn’t baffle you completely by going off with computer related jargon ten to the dozen! They also have to be able to put up with us too – being soooo very particular – doing things just how we want them, with the added bonus of us (not being really computer boff’s!) not really knowing what we want until we see it done and working! Well we found some – “Thanks boys!!” And of course that’s all in between our usual everyday work!!
The aims of thrive are to provide a friendly place where you can buy our carefully sourced products, whilst indulging in a little bit of flower therapy, learn a bit, and hopefully tell your friends. It’s a place to exchange information, share ideas and bring a little sunshine. We may not always be as cheap as some companies that sell everything and the kitchen sink, but we will do our best to be competitive with the added bonus of offering sound professional advice and lots of ideas, tips and inspiration which doesn’t cost the earth and hopefully allow us all to thrive. We have lots of ideas but the only way we can achieve them is with a little help from our friends – you. It’s as simple as that. We’d love your involvement too.
We also hope that you will consider becoming a “thrive member”?! This exclusive area offers lots of benefits and opportunities including 10% off our gorgeous range of books – whether on line, at the various trade shows we attend, or at our workshops held in Suffolk. It also allows a 10% discount off the regular price of our workshops and the exclusive additional facility to carry out your own research in our extensive library of floral/floristry/gardening books at our studio (by prior appointment only). Click here to check out all the full benefits, terms and conditions of membership and to enrol!
Finally, thank you for visiting our website. Please spend some time browsing through what we have to offer. Not all our opinions or what we have to sell will appeal to everyone, but if what we do creates a reaction, then it will have all been worthwhile. Enjoy the universal language of flowers.
‘Til next time
