Secondhand Books
At thrive, we offer an individual service enabling you to sell your unwanted books. Perhaps you would like to make room for a new book or two, or just want to have a clear out… maybe you bought a book in the past that isn’t quite you - we all make mistakes and floristry books are often quite expensive. Your book could be just the one someone else is desperate to acquire and we don’t have for sale, or is out of print…. So what have you got to lose? And of course there is the major plus that anyone looking at our site is already interested in flowers and would most probably prefer to buy from a reputable company rather than an unknown seller on a general internet auction site.
- Our second hand book service is for books in any of the subject areas and categories which we currently sell.
- Books will be listed, until they are sold up to an initial period of 12 months, in the second-hand book area in the shopping section of our site, which is searchable by all, not just thrive members.
- To list your book through this service you will be charged a standard fee of only 20% of the books selling price (including VAT at the prevailing rate).
- You post the book out directly to the buyer, saving on two lots of postage fees. The postage is at your own cost, and at pre-agreed rates that will be stated on the page with your book.
- You must be a thrive member to list books with us, although you do not need to be a member to buy!!
Selling your book is easy – once you have taken a picture of the front cover, click here to complete your details and info of your book and submit them to us.
