We are based in Coney Weston, within the beautiful Suffolk countryside, where you will find our studio creates a tranquil but professional and inspiring atmosphere in which to learn.
There is plenty of parking space, no queues or traffic jams like there is so often in towns & cities and ample opportunity to enjoy various aspects of Suffolk life and hospitality whilst in the area.
Local Information
The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is around 13 miles away from our studio and offers a wide range of accommodation possibilities if required (plus several en route to our village), as well as boasting the gorgeous Abbey Gardens, the newly completed Millennium Tower at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, The Theatre Royal, newly opened cinema complex, a wide selection of restaurants and a flourishing shopping centre. It is also incidentally one of the country’s floral towns!
Other interesting towns and places to visit are Newmarket – famous for its racehorses, the market town of Diss just over the border into Norfolk , Wyken Hall vineyards and country store, Blooms of Bressingham – the renowned plant centre and award winning gardens and steam museum are well worth a visit.
There are also several National Trust properties within driving distance including Ickworth House, just outside Bury St. Edmunds, as well as great walks at Market Weston Fen (where Marsh Orchids and other gems can be seen in May/June), Lopham Fens and Knettishall Heath.
