Secondhand Books
At thrive, we offer a personal service enabling you to sell your unwanted books. Perhaps you would like to make room for a new book or two, or just want to have a clear out… maybe you bought a book in the past that isn’t quite you - we all make mistakes and many floristry books are quite expensive. Your book could be just the one someone else is desperate to acquire and we don’t have for sale, or is out of print…. So what have you got to lose?
We can offer this service ONLY for books in the subject areas and categories which we currently sell. We will list books for an initial period of up to 12 months in the second-hand book area in the shopping section of our site, which is searchable by all, not just thrive members. We charge a standard fee of 20% of the sale value (including VAT at the prevailing rate) for this service. Postage is at your own cost, and at pre-agreed rates that will be stated on the page with your book. You must be required to be a thrive member to use this service, although you do not need to be a member to buy!!
